@carferrer. Running 64bit. It did it again during the Spam filter update as the time stamp on the license.xml was in line with the spam filter update. However, i changed the xml file again and with in 2 minutes it reverted back to trial. So i checked my host file and notice a typo. Instead of services.altn.com i had services.alt.com. I've corrected the host file and included the following Services.altn.com Service.altn.com Files.altn.com So far it looks good. But I'll wait and see again when it does a spam filter update.
Seriously people, stop asking for the password. For the 7z file. The files are located on page 40 top of page. Past the link in Chrome, it will come up as unsafe link but continue anyhow. If you read you would have seen this.
hv tried silent upgrade to 16.0.4 and changed those necessary files with amended license.xml. after a server restart, it prompted: cannot start mdaemon because the license is invalid. Error downloading license file from https://services.altn.com/usage.ashx on port 443. Error: 4 Please check your internet connection and firewall. If errors continue please contact support@helpdesk.altn.com for assistance. does anyone encountering similar situation?
i think i might have resolved it... the key in mdaemon.ini needs to match with those in license files.. another issue, does yr outbreak protection works? mine seems disabled as it requires an active mdav license key
Mine does not work either. Outbreak Protection Error: Unable to comply with the request because you are not licensed for the antispam or VOD service.
