据深圳超算相关负责人介绍,深圳超算是世界上最早布局云计算、大数据、人工智能的超算中心之一,经过11年的发展,深圳超算已在科学计算、生物医药、海洋石油等领域支持国家科技创新,已经启动的有气象数据预报模式、基因测序、量子计算模拟器、电力系统安全模拟等几个方面,未来将发力城市公共安全技术、新能源模拟软件并行优化技术支撑、国产航空航天工程仿真软件优化、南海海洋科学数据处理、宇宙演化模拟计算软件研发和新型药物研发等领域。
其中在国产气象数值预报模式研发方面,由于深圳乃至大湾区,是全球气象灾害风险最大的区域,研发自主可控的气象数值预报模式,具有重要社会意义;在基因测序精准医疗方面,对于预测疾病的发病风险、探究疾病的发病机理和对病人进行精准治疗等方面有重要意义;量子计算机能够快速处理大数分解、密码破解、搜索、优化等问题,量子计算模拟器是在传统的超级计算机上模拟量子计算机,对于量子计算算法研究,具有重要支撑作用,该项目主要合作单位是鹏城实验室和南方科大等。
